Proven Technology Over Hype

Your software has to work every day. Whether it runs on the newest framework does not matter for that. We use technology that is widely adopted and well documented: Nuxt and Vue, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes.

Technology is a means to an end. You see whether the choice was right in production: the system rarely goes down, a new system connects without a rebuild, and a deployment is routine. Six engineering standards make that happen, regardless of framework. Another team can take over the code if you want that.

Six standards that apply to every project we build

Tools and technologies change. These standards stay. They cover security, operations, integrations, deployments, performance under load and the use of AI. They come from projects like the LANXESS catalog system with more than 5 million items.

  1. Secure from the start

We build security into the foundation. Four questions must have an answer at any time: Who may do what? Who did what? Where is the sensitive data? How fast does a security hole get closed? Adding this later takes a lot of effort.

Access roles · Audit logs · Encrypted data · Automatic security updates

  2. Operations with monitoring

We monitor every platform we run with Grafana, Prometheus and Sentry. Alerts flag an incident before your customers see it. For emergencies there are backups and a written runbook. We have supported LANXESS since 2014.

Monitor · Respond fast · Fix issues · Backup strategies

  3. Stable interfaces

ERP, SAP, PIM and payment systems need to exchange data without anyone stepping in. We build integrations with versioned APIs. An update on one side does not break the other. Every interface has an owner and documentation. At LANXESS, the catalog system connects to SAP S/4HANA.

Fixed interfaces · Versioned · Logged · Documented

  4. Updates on a fixed process

For us, an update is routine. Every change runs through automated tests and gets reviewed by a second developer. Then we roll it out in stages. If something goes wrong, we roll the release back.

We apply the same principles when we modernize legacy systems. That happens step by step, with parallel operation and rollback instead of a hard cutover date.

Automated tests · Code review · Planned rollout strategies

  5. Fast under load

Your platform has to respond at peak load too. We test that up front with load profiles that match your real traffic. Caching and queues absorb spikes. When demand gets too high, the system works through requests in order instead of falling over.

Caching · Queues · Load tests with realistic traffic

  6. AI under your control

AI only helps if you understand what it does and can step in. We build AI features so that every result is logged and the AI only accesses data cleared for it. If you prefer, everything runs in Germany at Hetzner or in your own infrastructure.

Specific use cases · Access control · Logging · Data protection

The technologies we use to meet these standards

The technology follows your requirements. The six standards above matter more than the framework. They apply to every technology on this list.

Which tools and frameworks we pick depends on your project and your team. Most often we work with Nuxt and Vue, NestJS, PostgreSQL and Kubernetes.

Frontend

Vue.js / Nuxt.js
React / Next.js
Svelte / SvelteKit
Angular
TypeScript
Tailwind CSS
Three.js (3D)
Vite / Webpack

Backend

Node.js / Nest.js
PHP / Laravel / Symfony
Python / Django
Java / Spring Boot
Go
GraphQL / REST / tRPC
Strapi (headless CMS)
Elasticsearch / OpenSearch

DevOps & Cloud

Docker / Kubernetes
CI/CD (GitLab, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions)
AWS / Azure / Google Cloud
Hetzner Cloud (GDPR compliant, Germany)
Terraform / Ansible
Nginx / Traefik

Databases

PostgreSQL
MySQL / MariaDB
MongoDB
Redis / Valkey / KeyDB
Amazon Aurora / DynamoDB

Monitoring & Observability

Grafana
Prometheus
Kibana / ELK stack
Sentry (error tracking)
Uptime monitoring

Frequently asked questions

Let's talk about your platform

The intro call takes 30 minutes and is free. You tell us which technologies you work with and where things are stuck. If it is a fit, the Software Audit comes next: two weeks, €3,000 to €6,000 at a fixed price, with specific answers about your system. We work in English and German.
