Custom software development company: built around how you work

Custom development for processes that no off-the-shelf tool covers.

If your business runs on workflows no ready-made product supports, we build exactly that. Connected to your systems and built so it can be maintained for years. Since 2010, with seven developers in Langenfeld near Düsseldorf, Germany.

When standard software doesn't fit, we build what does

Many companies have processes and requirements that no ready-made product really covers. The result is workarounds, Excel sheets and teams copying data by hand. We close that gap with software built around the way you work.

Whether it's a new custom build, modernizing a legacy system or extending an existing platform, we take it from the idea to production. Since 2010 we have completed more than 200 projects. We have supported the LANXESS catalog system since 2014, and we built a 3D configurator for SMS group.

You get a plan with costs and timelines up front. The software is connected to your systems, and another team can take over the code later.

We don't build features on a hunch

Why “custom” means something different with us

Many custom software projects don't fail because of the idea. They fail on integration, operations, performance and unclear ownership.

So we build platforms that hold up in daily use: clean data flows, robust interfaces and deployments that can be rolled back. We use automation and AI where they take real work off people's plates. That's why we start with a two-week audit before we build.

Already running a system that's hitting its technical limits? Then the first step isn't a rebuild. It's an assessment: modernizing existing software.

This page is for you if …

  • your platform is connected (or needs to be connected) to ERP, SAP, PIM or several other systems
  • load times, availability and security matter to your business
  • you need to modernize without putting revenue or operations at risk (no big-bang cutover)
  • you want to know the risks, quick improvements and a roadmap before making a big investment
  • you're looking for a team that takes over operations and ongoing development after go-live

Our services

Desktop applications

We build desktop applications for Windows, macOS and Linux when a web application alone isn't enough. In the Brainworx MEGA Sampler, for example, an audio plugin and a web app work together.

Mobile apps

Native and cross-platform development for iOS and Android. The app connects to your existing systems and can work offline if you need it to.

Cloud applications

Cloud applications and microservices that grow with more users and data. Hosted in Germany (Hetzner) or in your own infrastructure.

What we typically build

Business-critical platforms

Technology is a means to an end. What matters is that the platform stays stable in operation and can be developed further step by step.

Product catalogs and data platforms

Close to PIM and ERP, search and filters, roles and permissions

Configurators and CPQ flows

Rule sets, variants, pricing logic, handoff to the ERP

Portals and self-service

Access control, roles and permissions, self-service, workflows

Commerce and checkout stability

Reliable purchase flows, visible errors, load resilience

Integration layers and APIs

Versioned, documented interfaces that other systems can depend on

Independent operations

Monitoring, written escalation paths, deployments that can be rolled back

Our development process

1. Analysis and planning

We capture your requirements in detail and write a plan covering architecture, effort and sequence.

  1. Requirements analysis
  2. Technical design
  3. Project planning

2. Development and testing

We develop in short iterations with automated tests. After each iteration you see a working version.

  1. Agile development
  2. Automated tests
  3. Continuous integration

Technology stack

Frontend

  • React / Next.js
  • Vue.js / Nuxt.js
  • Angular

Backend

  • Node.js
  • Python
  • Java

Mobile

  • iOS / Swift
  • Android / Kotlin
  • React Native

Cloud & DevOps

  • AWS

  • Kubernetes

Quality assurance

Every change goes through automated tests and a code review before it goes live. That keeps your software maintainable years from now.

  • Automated tests
  • Code reviews
  • Security audits
  • Performance monitoring

Audit first, then development

Two weeks • fixed price of €3,000 to €6,000, depending on scope

When your business depends on the platform, we first look at what's there. Then you decide based on facts.

What happens in the audit is described on the Software Audit page. The intro call beforehand takes 30 minutes and is free.

What you get in two weeks:

Integration map

Systems, data flows, responsibilities, risks

Risk backlog

Security, operations, performance and delivery, sorted by urgency

Quick improvements and a 90-day roadmap

What can happen right away and what follows in which order

Recommendation

Architecture, operating model and GDPR-compliant use cases for AI

Frequently asked questions

Not sure whether your requirement can be built?

We'll figure that out in a free 30-minute intro call, with no obligation. We look at your situation and tell you honestly what's possible and what it would cost. We work in English and German.
